Katonya Hughey

Katonya Hughey is the founder and CEO of Juene’ Consulting. Under that umbrella I am an author of children’s books, business consultant and a self-confessed advocate for today’s youth. As a lover of life, I believe that all children deserve to lead a happy and healthy life. I love self-empowerment, the intricacies of managing an everyday life and motivating others. I have been working with children since 1995. Notable accomplishments include: 

• Developing curriculum for the Wilson Gray YMCA 7th grade entrepreneur program. 

• Implementation of a teen mentoring program at Fred D. Wish Elementary School 

• Facilitating hands on-care sessions in the Hands-on Atlanta program 

 

My love and commitment to today's youth motivates me to create reading materials that promote a healthy mind, healthy lifestyle and an appreciation of different ethnicities, economic status, mental health, physical appearance and more.

I spent 20 years as a leader and executive in corporate America. My career is devoted to building relationships and helping consumers understand and plan for a secure retirement. I hold a BS in Business Administration from Albertus Magnus, and an MS in Organizational Leadership from Quinnipiac University. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my son, granddaughter, and a host of family members, dancing, coaching, mentoring children and future leaders.
